Contingent Search

Contingent search is an excellent choice for clients looking to fill positions ranging from administrative level to management level. For these types of positions, there is generally a greater selection of qualified candidates. Requirements for these positions are typically more flexible, which allows candidates with comparable skills to cross over from other industries.

Clients are not required to pay any fees until the position has been filled. Fees are determined as a percentage of the candidate’s salary, and the percentage remains fixed for future contingent search assignments. Radar Search offers a limited guarantee on every completed contingent search assignment.


Retained Search

Retained search is best for clients looking to fill executive level positions, positions that are extremely confidential, or positions requiring highly specific skills and/or industry experience. For these types of positions, the selection of qualified candidates is fewer. Often the ideal candidate works for a competitor, which requires unique search methods to be implemented.

Clients are required to pay a portion of the fee as a retainer, prior to the search initiating. Rates and fee schedules are determined based upon the specific requirements for the position. Radar Search offers a limited guarantee on every completed retained search assignment.
